I am always excited to find new reasons to return to my alma mater’s campus (as allowed with covid regulations right now). Prior to covid craziness, I was able to visit while on my spring break and visit with one of my favorite career mentors from the Hollins University Career Center and do some family photos for her and her adorable daughter, Melody! Melody is the cutest little girl. She takes the world in very seriously and with great curiosity.
We were very fortunate to have great weather on Front Quad! The way the trees on Front Quad diffuse the light is magical, whether in the middle of the day or my beloved golden hour. I have always treasured this space, and I enjoy revisiting and shooting here.
I love the warm tones here and the cheery balloons. Though our time together was brief, I enjoyed getting to meet and photograph the beautiful Melody. May these images bring a smile to your face as they do mine.
