I had the great privilege to sit on a plane longer than I ever have to be a part of one of the most involved, beautiful, and love-filled weddings I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of. The bride and groom, Chris and Ting An are my brother and sister in law.
The wedding started early in the morning with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony where the families of the bride and groom gathered in the bride’s family compound while the bride served tea and traditional desserts. As she gave us our tea, we gave her a compliment. As she gathered the empty dishes, she complimented us. There was lots of laughter and new experiences. I definitely had to divide my time as both the sister of the groom and the photographer.
It was a long and fun filled day that flew by. I am honored to have been a part of it and thrilled to have had the experience.
